Our approach

Brand agnostic.
Results first.

We did not buy equipment to look equipped. We bought what serious lifters actually use. If a machine does not belong here, it does not come in. Full stop. GymLeco, MaxPump, Hammer Strength, and other premium brands sit alongside each other because they earned that place on merit. No bulk deals. No filler machines to fill the floor.

The result is a floor that looks a little different from a standard commercial gym. Some machines are rare older models we tracked down because there is nothing modern that matches them. Some are newer specialist pieces that you will not see at chain gyms. The brand-agnostic curation is the whole point: nothing on the floor was chosen because a sales rep offered a discount.

The set-up is certified by Olympians and IFBB Pros. We have more IFBB Pro visitors per square metre than any other gym on the continent. When pros visit Bangkok, they find UnReal because the equipment plan reflects how they actually train, not how a generalist gym thinks they train.

The two-floor layout

One floor for upper. One for lower.

The decision to split bodybuilding across two floors instead of cramming it into one was structural. A single-floor bodybuilding gym always ends up compromising on equipment count or floor space per station. Two floors gave us room to do both properly.

Floor 7 (upper body)holds the bench stations, cable crossovers, dumbbells from 2 to 60 kg in a full unbroken range, the shoulder and arm machines, the pull-up rig, and the lat pulldown station. The cardio zone, posing room, men's changing room, and InBody 570 sit on the same floor.

Floor 6 (lower body and powerlifting)holds the leg press, hack squat, leg extension and curl stations, calf raises, hip thrust machine, and the powerlifting bay with competition racks and deadlift platforms. Reception, the supplements counter, and the women's changing room are on this floor.

The practical result is that you rarely wait for equipment. Upper-body day on Floor 7 stays out of the way of lower-body day on Floor 6, even at peak hours.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is UnReal really a bodybuilding-first gym?

Yes. Two of the three founders are IFBB Pros. The equipment plan was built around hypertrophy training: 75 plus stations across two floors, brand-agnostic curation (GymLeco, MaxPump, Hammer Strength), 1,200 plus kg of calibrated plates, a posing room, and on-site InBody 570. The other disciplines (powerlifting, Muay Thai, Reset Club) sit alongside but the centre of gravity is bodybuilding.

What does brand-agnostic equipment mean?

Most gyms buy equipment in bulk from one or two manufacturers because the deal is better. UnReal bought equipment based on what serious lifters actually use, regardless of brand. GymLeco sits next to MaxPump because both pieces earned their spot. Some machines look unusual because they are rare older models with no modern equivalent. The criterion is always performance for the lift, not how the floor looks in photos.

What is the posing room?

Bangkok's only dedicated bodybuilding posing room. Stage-quality lighting, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, private booking. Used by Olympians and IFBB Pros visiting Bangkok. Complimentary with active membership: reserve at reception or via WhatsApp.

What about InBody scans?

InBody 570 on Floor 7. 200 THB per scan, 1,000 THB for a 10-pack, free for active coaching clients, first scan free for new 1-month-plus members. Most members on contest prep run weekly scans, which the package pricing supports.

Are there cardio machines?

Yes, but cardio is not the centre of the offer. Floor 7 has a cardio zone with treadmills, bikes, and rowers, sufficient for warmup and conditioning work. If your goal is purely cardio-based training, a chain gym is a better fit. If your goal is hypertrophy with conditioning support, the setup works.

What are the gym hours?

Staffed hours are 06:00 to 22:00, 7 days a week. Reset Club on Floor 8 runs 07:00 to 21:00 daily.
