Competition Prep
Stage ready.
Platform ready.
Bodybuilding stage prep with an IFBB Pro. Powerlifting meet prep with an IPF Coach II. Both under one roof in Bangkok, on Sukhumvit Soi 24.
The case for proper prep
You can train for a show. Or you can prep for one.
Anyone can train hard for 12 weeks and call it a contest prep. What separates a prep from a hard training block is the structure around it: phase periodisation, macro periodisation, weekly conditioning checks, peak-week protocols, federation-specific stage strategy, and the judgement calls a coach makes when the data does not match the plan.
UnReal carries two senior prep coaches: Ben (IFBB Classic Physique Pro) for bodybuilding, Kaely (IPF Coach II, Thai national PL athlete) for powerlifting. The combination of active competitor experience and recognised certification is rare in Bangkok. Most coaching available locally is generalist personal training with a contest-prep label attached.
The prep block at UnReal is built around the show date, not around an arbitrary calendar. Whether your target is a regional NPC Worldwide show, a PCA Thailand stage, an IFBB Pro League qualifier, a Thailand Powerlifting Federation meet, or an IPF-affiliated international, the prep adapts. The structure is the same. The specifics are different.

The room nobody else has
Posing rehearsal under stage lighting.
Bodybuilding prep at UnReal includes complimentary access to Bangkok's only dedicated posing room. The room sits on Floor 7. Stage-quality lighting, floor-to-ceiling mirrors on all walls, private booking via reception or WhatsApp. Used by Olympians and IFBB Pros visiting Bangkok.
For a competitor in prep, this is the difference between rehearsing in a hallway mirror and rehearsing under the conditions you will face on pre-judging day. The lighting matches the stage. The space matches the booth. The privacy matches the head space.
The room is included with active membership and complimentary for prep clients. Posing coaching from Ben, Jang, or Ux is a paid add-on if you want the technique coaching alongside the room booking.
The InBody factor
You cannot improve what you do not measure.
Every prep client at UnReal gets unlimited access to the InBody 570 body composition scanner on Floor 7. Weekly tracking during cut phase, monthly during off-season, day-of for peak week. The data informs macro adjustments, refeed timing, and conditioning calls in a way that scale weight alone cannot.
The InBody 570 measures lean mass, body fat percentage, segmental water, visceral fat, and several ratios. For a serious physique competitor or a powerlifter managing weight class, the trend across weekly scans is the data your coach uses to make calls. The scanner is on site, free for coaching clients, and the workflow is built into the prep system.

FAQ
Common questions.
Do I need to be advanced to start competition prep?
No. First-time competitors are welcome. We coach you from where you are, not from where we assume you should be. Most first-timers run a 12 to 24 week prep depending on starting condition and target show.
How many shows can I do per year?
Depends on your sport and your recovery. Bodybuilders typically run one to two prep cycles per year with extended off-season blocks between. Powerlifters can target two to three meets per year depending on weight class management and total goal. Your coach plans the calendar.
Is drug testing a factor?
We work with both natural and non-tested athletes. We do not ask, you do not have to declare. You will be prepped for whichever federation you compete in (IPF is tested, IFBB Pro League is not, NPC and PCA Thailand vary by event). Coach selection considers this.
What does a prep package cost?
Packages vary by sport, duration, and coach. A typical bodybuilding prep block (16 to 24 weeks) is priced separately from a powerlifting meet prep (12 to 16 weeks) because the work loads differ. Contact us for a consultation and quote.
What is included beyond the sessions?
Periodised programming, custom macro targets, weekly or biweekly check-ins, unlimited InBody 570 scans during prep, posing room access (bodybuilding) or specialist bar access (powerlifting), and stage-day or meet-day support. Coaching clients also get the 200 THB day pass rate on coaching weeks.
Can I do a day pass without a contract?
Yes. Day passes start at 500 THB for Floors 6 to 7 access. No sign-up, no commitment. Walk in any time during staffed hours.
