Ekkamai
Two stops west.
Worth every minute.
UnReal is not in Ekkamai. It is two BTS stops west at Phrom Phong, on Sukhumvit Soi 24. A 6 to 8 minute ride buys you three floors of specialist training, a powerlifting bay, a bodybuilding floor, Muay Thai and an in-gym ice bath. That is the trade most Ekkamai gyms cannot match.
The honest geography
Ekkamai to UnReal is a short ride, not a walk.
Let us be straight about location. UnReal is not in Ekkamai. The gym sits on Sukhumvit Soi 24, right by Phrom Phong BTS, which is two stops west of Ekkamai on the Sukhumvit line. If you live or work around Ekkamai (Soi 63), the honest answer is that you take the train: Ekkamai to Thong Lo to Phrom Phong, roughly 6 to 8 minutes of riding.
From Phrom Phong Exit 1 it is a 2 minute walk into Soi 24 to the iStore Building lift. Door to door from most Ekkamai condos lands around 15 to 20 minutes once you add the walk to your home station. That is a genuinely short trip in Bangkok terms, and the BTS skips the Sukhumvit traffic entirely.
So the question is not "is there a gym in Ekkamai" (there are several), it is whether the short ride west is worth it. For anyone who lifts seriously, it usually is. Here is why.
Why the trip pays off
Three floors beat one floor.
Most gyms near Ekkamai are single-floor general fitness rooms: a row of machines, some free weights, a cardio bank. They cover the basics and nothing more. UnReal is built differently. The iStore Building gives it three dedicated floors, so each floor specialises instead of compromising.
Floor 6 is legs and powerlifting: competition squat racks, deadlift platforms, calibrated plates and the heavy stock.
Floor 7 is upper body and bodybuilding: bench stations, cable crossovers, dumbbells from 2 to 60 kg, the posing room and an InBody 570 scanner.
Floor 8 is Muay Thai (heavy bags, open mat) and Reset Club BKK, an in-gym recovery centre with a TylöHelo sauna, ice bath and rooftop deck. No Ekkamai gym we know of bundles striking and contrast recovery into the same building.
UnReal was co-founded by Calum Von Moger, IFBB Pro and three-time Mr. Universe. The coaching bench carries real credentials, from IFBB Pro bodybuilding to IPF Coach II powerlifting. That depth is the reason the short ride west earns its place in your week.

The Ekkamai routine
Slot it into your commute.
The smart move for Ekkamai residents is to train on the way in or out. The BTS runs through Phrom Phong on the same line you already use, so a session at UnReal does not mean a special trip. Ride two stops, walk two minutes, train, ride home. No Grab surge, no Sukhumvit gridlock.
A day pass at UnReal includes the locker, two towels (one for hands, one for the shower), the Wi-Fi and use of the posing room (reserve ahead). There is no upcharge for any of it. The InBody 570 body composition scan is 200 THB, or free for monthly coaching clients on first scan.
Reset Club on Floor 8 is the recovery payoff after a long Bangkok day: sauna, ice bath and rooftop. Day pass holders can add Reset for the bundle price, and every monthly membership tier includes free Reset passes. If you want to test the trip from Ekkamai first, the 500 THB day pass is the lowest commitment way to do it.

FAQ
Common questions.
Where is UnReal Gym in relation to Ekkamai?
UnReal is not in Ekkamai. It is two BTS stops west, at Phrom Phong (E5), on Sukhumvit Soi 24. From Ekkamai BTS take the Sukhumvit line toward Mo Chit, ride through Thong Lo and Phrom Phong is the next stop. The ride is roughly 6 to 8 minutes. From Phrom Phong Exit 1 the gym is a 2 minute walk into Soi 24.
Why train at Phrom Phong instead of a gym inside Ekkamai?
Ekkamai has plenty of general fitness studios, but UnReal is a specialist gym: three full floors with a dedicated powerlifting bay, a bodybuilding floor, a Muay Thai floor and an in-gym recovery centre. Most Ekkamai gyms are one floor with a general equipment mix. For serious lifters the short BTS hop west is worth it for the depth of equipment and coaching.
How long does the BTS take from Ekkamai to UnReal?
Ekkamai to Phrom Phong is two stops west on the Sukhumvit line, around 6 to 8 minutes of travel plus the 2 minute walk from Phrom Phong Exit 1 into Sukhumvit Soi 24. Door to door from most Ekkamai condos is usually 15 to 20 minutes including the walk to your home station.
Can I just do a day pass if I am coming from Ekkamai?
Yes. Day passes start at 500 THB for Floors 6 to 7 with no contract and no sign-up. Walk in any time during staffed hours, train, and leave. It is the easiest way to test whether the trip from Ekkamai is worth it before committing to a membership.
What are the gym hours?
Staffed hours are 06:00 to 22:00, 7 days a week. Reset Club on Floor 8 runs 07:00 to 21:00 daily.
Is there parking?
Parking is limited at the iStore Building. We recommend BTS Phrom Phong, taxi, motorbike, or Grab. Search 'iStore Building Sukhumvit 24' in any ride app.
