Thonglor
One BTS stop
from Thong Lo.
The closest specialist hardcore gym to Thonglor. UnReal sits one stop west at Phrom Phong, 51 iStore Building, Floors 6 to 8, Sukhumvit Soi 24. From Thong Lo BTS it is a single stop, then a 2 minute walk to Floors 6 to 8. Powerlifting, posing room, sauna and ice bath all under one roof.
The geography
Thong Lo to Phrom Phong is one stop west.
Thonglor (Sukhumvit Soi 55) is one of Bangkok's densest expat and lifestyle districts, full of boutique studios, cafes, and condos. What it does not have is a true specialist hardcore gym. The nearest one is UnReal, and it is closer than most Thonglor residents assume.
On the BTS Sukhumvit Line, Thong Lo (E6) is exactly one stop east of Phrom Phong (E5). One stop. From the moment you tap into Thong Lo station, you are roughly three minutes of train time and a 2 minute walk from the UnReal lift. Door to door from most Thonglor condos runs 12 to 18 minutes, often faster than fighting Sukhumvit traffic to a gym that is technically in your own soi.
By road, a Grab or taxi from central Thonglor to the iStore Building on Soi 24 is around 5 to 10 minutes outside rush hour. Either way, the short trip buys you a facility no Thonglor address can match.
Why the trip is worth it
What Thonglor studios can't fit in one soi.
Thonglor's fitness scene is built around boutique formats: HIIT classes, group strength, small studio floors. They are good at what they do. They are not built for heavy, specialised training.
Powerlifting at UnReal means competition squat racks, two deadlift platforms, specialist bars, and calibrated plates on Floor 6. No waiting on a single rack shared with a class.
Bodybuilding spreads across two floors with over 75 stations, dumbbells from 2 to 60 kg, and a stage-quality posing room with proper lighting and mirrors. It is an IFBB Pro environment, co-founded by Calum Von Moger, three-time Mr. Universe.
Recovery is on site. Reset Club BKK on Floor 8 has a TylöHelo sauna, ice bath, and rooftop deck, so you lift and recover in one trip instead of booking a separate Thonglor recovery studio for a second journey.

For Thonglor expats
English coaching, month-to-month, no marble tax.
Most of Thonglor's lifting community is expat, and most train in English. UnReal's coaching team is English-first, with IFBB Pro and IPF Coach II credentials on the floor, not just on a website.
Memberships are month-to-month with no long lock-in, and day passes start at 500 THB for Floors 6 to 7, so you can try the trip before committing. The Day Pass + Open Gym tier at 650 THB adds Floor 8 and Reset Club access.
Towel service, daily locker rental, Wi-Fi, and posing-room booking are included in the door fee. No upcharges hidden behind a Thonglor lobby aesthetic. The premium here is access and equipment, not decor.

FAQ
Thonglor to UnReal, answered.
Is UnReal Gym in Thonglor?
No. UnReal is on Sukhumvit Soi 24, two minutes from Phrom Phong BTS Exit 1, which is one BTS stop west of Thong Lo. From Thong Lo station it is a single stop on the Sukhumvit Line, then a 2 minute walk. Door to door from most Thonglor condos is typically 12 to 18 minutes.
How do I get from Thonglor to UnReal Gym?
Take the BTS Sukhumvit Line one stop west from Thong Lo (E6) to Phrom Phong (E5). Use Exit 1, turn right onto Sukhumvit Road, then right into Sukhumvit Soi 24. The iStore Building is about 80 metres along the soi on the left. Take the lift to Floors 6 to 8. By taxi or Grab it is roughly 5 to 10 minutes depending on Sukhumvit traffic.
Why train one stop away instead of a Thonglor gym?
Most Thonglor gyms are boutique HIIT studios or general fitness floors. UnReal is a three-floor specialist facility: a powerlifting bay with competition racks and platforms, two floors of bodybuilding equipment, a stage-quality posing room, full Muay Thai, and Reset Club recovery with sauna and ice bath. For serious lifting and prep, one BTS stop is a short trade for equipment and coaching you will not find in a Thonglor studio.
Does UnReal have an ice bath and sauna like the Thonglor recovery studios?
Yes. Reset Club BKK on Floor 8 has a TylöHelo sauna at 90C and an ice bath running 0 to 11C, plus a rooftop recovery deck. It is built into the gym rather than being a separate recovery-only venue, so you can lift and recover in the same trip instead of a second journey across Sukhumvit.
What are the gym hours?
Staffed hours are 06:00 to 22:00, 7 days a week. Reset Club on Floor 8 runs 07:00 to 21:00 daily.
Is there parking?
Parking is limited at the iStore Building. We recommend BTS Phrom Phong, taxi, motorbike, or Grab. Search 'iStore Building Sukhumvit 24' in any ride app.
