Muay Thai
The true art
of Bangkok.
You're in Thailand, the birthplace of Muay Thai. We built a proper striking area because it belongs here. Certified coaches. Full ring. Floor 8 of UnReal Gym, Sukhumvit Soi 24.
Why train it here
You are in the birthplace of the art.
Muay Thai is Thailand's national sport. Eight limbs (fists, elbows, knees, shins), 2,000 years of cultural and martial heritage, a sport that produced an entire global combat discipline. If you are in Bangkok and your gym does not have a striking area, you are missing what makes training in this city different from training anywhere else.
UnReal's Muay Thai programme sits on Floor 8 of the iStore Building. Full ring, multiple heavy bags, pad work area, open mat. Coaching is delivered in English by default with bilingual options. The classes split into beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks, and one-on-one coaching is available by appointment.
The setup is calibrated for the multi-discipline audience UnReal serves: tourists who want to train the art for a week or two during their Bangkok visit, expats building a long-term practice in their home city, and serious Muay Thai practitioners who want central Sukhumvit access to a proper striking facility.

The case for Muay Thai
Not just a martial art.
Conditioning, coordination, mental toughness. A Muay Thai session burns more calories than almost any gym workout while developing practical skill and building real confidence. The hour you spend on the pads carries metabolic and cognitive effects no treadmill matches.
And you're in Bangkok. If there was ever a city to learn it properly, this is it. Coaches who know the art. Facilities that meet the discipline. Recovery one floor up.
“If you're training in Bangkok and your gym doesn't have a striking area, what are you doing?”

The recovery loop
Sauna and ice bath, one floor away.
A 60 to 90 minute Muay Thai session in Bangkok heat puts real load on the body, even at beginner intensity. Stepping out of class into a 32 degree afternoon is a different experience from training in a cool climate. Reset Club BKK, on the same floor as the Muay Thai area, gives you the structured recovery to handle the load.
TylöHelo sauna at 90 degrees, ice plunge at 0 to 11 degrees, rooftop deck. A 60 minute contrast session 30 to 60 minutes after class (or the morning after) makes a meaningful difference to how you feel the next day. Most tourists who train Muay Thai at UnReal end up using Reset Club as part of their routine.
Reset Club is included as free passes with longer memberships (1 free pass with 1-month, up to 4 free passes with 12-month). Day passes start at 500 THB at launch pricing, with bundled gym plus Reset day passes available.

FAQ
Common questions.
Do I need experience to start?
No. The beginner class is the most attended at UnReal and is built for first-timers. Stance, guard, basic strikes, pad work, conditioning. No sparring until you are ready. You can start the same week you enquire.
Are the coaches English-speaking?
Yes. Coaching is delivered in English by default. Several coaches are also fluent in Thai. If you want a Thai-speaking coach specifically, request it at reception or via the Train With Us form.
Will I be sparring on day one?
No. Sparring is gradual, supervised, and matched to your level. Beginner sessions focus on technique and pad work, not partner work. When you are ready to spar, the coaching team starts you with people at your level, not with experienced fighters.
What is included with the Unlimited membership?
Unlimited Day Pass (950 THB/day) includes all group Muay Thai classes for that day. Unlimited monthly memberships include all group classes as part of the plan. One-on-one coaching is priced separately. Ask at reception for rates.
Do I need to bring gear?
If you have your own gloves, wraps, and shin guards, bring them. If not, they are available for hire at reception. Wear athletic clothes you can move in. No jeans, no sandals, proper closed-toe shoes for the gym floor between rounds.
What are the gym hours?
Staffed hours are 06:00 to 22:00, 7 days a week. Reset Club on Floor 8 runs 07:00 to 21:00 daily.
