UnReal Gym Bangkok
Bilingual personal training at UnReal Gym Bangkok with Vic, ACE CPT

English-Speaking PT Bangkok

Coaching in your
language.

Personal training delivered in English by coaches with the credentials to match. Built for the expat community in central Sukhumvit. Bilingual options for clients who prefer Thai or want to switch between the two.

The expat coaching gap

Most Bangkok PT is language-limited.

The expat community in central Sukhumvit (Phrom Phong, Asoke, Thonglor, Ekkamai) consistently reports the same coaching gap: plenty of personal trainers in central Bangkok, but the language barrier in many gyms means coaching ends up at a surface level. Counting reps. Demonstrating movements. Not the deep conversation about programming, nutrition, periodisation, and the why behind the work.

Coaching is a verbal craft. The technical knowledge a coach holds only transfers to you if the language between you flows naturally. A coach who can explain why your hip shoots up in the squat but cannot articulate the cue in your language ends up giving you a correction without context. You change the squat for that session and revert next week because the why never landed.

UnReal's coaching network is built around this reality. The default coaching language is English. Bilingual options are available for clients who prefer Thai or want to move between the two. The Train With Us form lets you specify language preference along with goal and preferred coach.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which coaches at UnReal speak English?

All UnReal coaches are comfortable coaching in English. Ben, Kaely, Vic, Dennis, Ux, Jang, and Rishi deliver coaching in English by default. Gus is bilingual and speaks Thai fluently for clients who prefer Thai-language coaching or want to switch between the two.

Why does the language matter for personal training?

Coaching is heavily verbal. Cues, corrections, programming explanations, nutrition conversations, debrief after sets, post-session reviews. If there is friction in the language between you and your coach, the depth of coaching you actually receive drops, regardless of how good the coach is technically.

Can I do nutrition coaching in English?

Yes. Coaching plans include macro-based nutrition guidance delivered in English. Vic holds an ACE Nutrition Specialist certification specifically. Ben works with international competitors and is used to running prep plans in English-language metrics (grams, macros, percentages).

Are the gym signs and reception bilingual?

Yes. Reception and member-facing communications operate in both English and Thai. The Train With Us form, the website, the membership terms, and the safety signs are all in English. Reception staff are bilingual.

I am Thai and want to train in Thai. Is that an option?

Yes. Gus speaks Thai fluently and runs beginner-friendly programming. Several other coaches are conversationally fluent in Thai. Request a Thai-language coach via the Train With Us form or at reception and we will match accordingly.
